The Salvation Army – Turning Point Shelter, Roanoke VA
From Jamie Starkey, Executive Director:
The Salvation Army Turning Point was blessed to be a part of such a wonderful event. As a result of our partnership with Radiant Roanoke, The Turning Point shelter received donations of household goods and financial contributions. For weeks after the event, we had the opportunity to hear from participants who were blessed by our message, and as a result blessed us with donations for our Salvation Army Thrift Store.
The Radiant Roanoke Conference afforded us an opportunity to bring awareness to our work and, prayerfully, to reach women in need of our support.
The shelter is always in need of family and household items.

This event was very obviously well organized and well thought-out. Thank you. Job well done!
I had never been to a one day retreat before. I felt like every detail was taken care of. Thank you for a lovely day.
My favorite part was the unifying factor for the Body.
I have been in charge of many women’s ministry events over the years…superb first time effort on your part!
I loved the event. I liked how the schedule was broken up so you weren’t sitting for long periods of time.
Program was well planned out and very timely. Not a wasted moment. Thank you for a wonderful day.
I thought the day went very smoothly and I enjoyed it very much. I could tell that a lot of work went into making it a blessing to me and many.
